It turned out!!

So, I would never consider myself an overly crafty person.  In my day I've signed up for many a super Saturday and come home disappointed.... until now!!! Yay!!

I made this super amazing plate at my friend JoLynn's ward Super Saturday a few weeks ago and I must admit I am excited at how great it turned out.  My stuff never turns out looking like the sample... but THIS?  I love it!  It is a clear glass plate (from Walmart), a vinyl letter applied to the back, and black and white damask fabric applied to the back with Modge Podge.  Not exactly dishwasher safe, but who cares!!!!

My last purchase...

I saw this awesome lampshade at Target the other day... and HAD to have it. I know I'm weird... but it SPOKE to me. What can I say???

Ummm... I love this. I am looking for a GREAT black and white rug on the CHEAP. Anyone?? Anyone??

So I think I've pretty much talked my hubby into letting me have ONE black and white room in my new house. Pretty pretty PLEEEEEEASE??

I'm hoping for the master bedroom... we'll see.

If any of you have ideas for me... I'd love to see them. I'll probably be doing our master bedroom and bath. If all goes as planned. (Fingers crossed!)

This post will include 2 things I love... 1.Black and white photography (ha ha... I took this one MYSELF!!) 2. Dance... always have, always will.

I have owned a dance studio for 8 years, and have just recently sold it to pursue some other things, including spending more time being a MOM!

The dancer in this photo is my oldest niece, Brittany. She has studied at my studio since it opened in 2003. She has grown to be a beautiful dancer. She's off to college soon, and I can't wait to see what's in store for her!
